So-called rights and wrongs

         Once, during a chat, a friend told me that the point revolving which a circle is drawn is considered to be female and the circular path drawn around that point is considered to be male. And why this gender discrimination?! Because, a circle cannot be drawn without the help of the point. The point is the stability that holds the circular path around it. Hence, it so means that the female is the stability which holds a man right in his path.

         I did not pay much attention to such a philosophical statement, then. But today, when I remember his words, I wonder that if there really is such an explanation in science then there must be some truth about it because science is based on truth!! But where is that truth in today's "globalize" world?? Where is this strength and stability in the women today??

        The female gender is the weaker or rather the weakest clan of the society now!! Be it in a movie or in reality. A movie shows how a playboy is having fun with lots of girls and all his mother can do is to shout over the phone. How the playboy has fun in bed with a girl but in the end manages to fall in love with that girl's best friend whose a perfect "mom's choice" material!! And as usual, the girls are the ones to fall in love with such a playboy. And the worst part is that they both try to sacrifice their love for the other one's happiness!! Whereas, the guy just stays so focused to get the girl of his choice!!

         In the real world, some girl is being forced to drink urine, some are being molested by a whole gang, some are being raped by god knows how many guys. And what people do is take their videos and put it in youtube rather than helping them!!

         A woman can take the pain of carrying a child in her womb for 9 months and give birth to it but it hurts her too much to punish her child when he's doing something inhumane thinking that people will raise a finger at her upbringing. A girl can take the pain of being molested and keep it all within her and cry it out when she's alone. But she cannot master up enough courage to raise her voice against it because she's the one who is going to be blamed and will be seen with disgusted eyes!! No matter what, the girls and the women are considered to be at fault. Hence, they have fallen into the habit of staying shut and bearing the pain of all this shit happening with them. But it’s actually the women themselves to can turn this whole thing around. How can anyone else help them when they are not willing to help themselves? The media, all the hype, the so-called protests are of no use until and unless women themselves realize what they are capable of and how strong they are.

         In the race of scoring a 99% in the examinations, we actually leave behind the morals we read in our school books. The morals like, "Self help is the best help", "Charity begins at home", "What goes around, comes around", "When you point 1 finger at someone, the other 4 fingers are pointing back at you", and many more. But we forget to apply these morals in our daily lives.

        We forget to help ourselves and expect others to help us! We forget that we should first rectify the wrong within us and then point out at someone. We forget that today if we don't help the needy then tomorrow when we might need help the same thing can happen with us.

        It’s so easy to say, "Oh, she was wearing short clothes to look sexy and that is why she got molested. That's fair enough." But do we realize that we had time to notice she was wearing short clothes and was looking sexy but we didn't have time to think she can be a nice girl and we should help her out of the situation. People have enough time and energy to comment on such topics and decide who’s at fault but they are not having time to realize that sitting and talking about all this will not stop all this from happening.

       Thinking negative about someone and blaming them is so very easy that we forget to do the difficult job of thinking nice about someone. Or may be, people enjoy the leisure of watching the wrong thing happen and hence they do not want to strain themselves to get up and stop it.
       Have women really become this much weak and vulnerable?! Is this what they are born for?? No wonder there used to be the ritual of killing a girl child before or after she was born. Its at least better off than the amount of torture that awaits her.
      It just amazes me to what extent the humans have become inhumane.
