for the sake of our life as humans!!

We were all there.. with candles.. walking in a straight line.. shouting out, "we want justice".. the messages on the banner read, "Girls, don't exist. That's the only way you can stay safe", "We want respect, not to be raped", "treat a girl the way you would want any guy to treat your sister", "we want freedom, not feardom", "heal the world", and so on..

Hands pained holding the banners up.. voices cracked shouting out the only message, "stop raping innocent girls and rapists deserve capital punishments".

But who actually got benefited by the evening??

1. The raped girl lying on the hospital bed at Delhi??

2. The numerous people who joined the march just to check out good-looking opposite sexes, or cozying up with their partners in the crowd, or the bunch of photographers who have taken up photography just out of fashion, or the guys who got the advantages of bumping into random girls 'cause of the crowd??

3. The media who got a HUGE coverage and a great story for the next day's newspaper??

4. The TV channels which would get huge TRP telecasting the footage of the march??

I mean no offense to anyone and I am not at all against such candle marches but I wanna ask you all, how many of us can actually feel the pain of that girl?? The pain of getting raped brutally?? The pain of having a life worse than death!! How many people were actually thinking about the girl lying in severe mental pain on her death-bed, while walking the candle march??

All I wanna say is, "COME ON, PEOPLE.. We just gotta do a great deal more and take a really big step in order to make the rapists pay for their sins.. in order to ERADICATE rape from becoming a daily-life activity such as having food and water, taking a shower or sleeping!! It's OUR society and WE need to take a lot more RESPONSIBILITY on our shoulder to make it worth living in!!"

I am ready to pay gratitude to life and be born as a human being.. But, are you??
